Bee’s Rugby
County Carlow Bee’s is Carlow’s only all-inclusive special ability tag rugby team catering to children and young adults with learning and physical disabilities.
We currently have between 20 to 30 people taking part in training every Thursday, 6.00 to 7.00 in County Carlow Football Club, Oak Park.
We aim to provide an opportunity for all to partake in tag rugby in a safe, enjoyable and exciting environment. We participate in numerous blitzes throughout the year.

Our County Carlow Bee’s all-inclusive tag rugby team headed to Dublin on Saturday 16th of November to show some Leinster boys how its all done!! They took part in a half time match at the Leinster Vs Benetton Rugby match in the RDS against the Clontarf Bulls. Two fantastic teams showed amazing team spirit and had a wonderful time with Leo the Lion showing them all his dance moves.
Huge thanks must go to everyone who took part and helped to get our guys and girls to play in front of an amazing crowd on the day. Norman O’ Leary who played a vital roll in getting us there on the day. Des Kavanagh, Stuart Bailey and Debbie Carty who came out to cheer us on. Finally Niall O Malley – who we could not have a team without!
A massive well done to all!!
